So.... in case some of you haven't caught on.... I suck. I've been all caught up getting the shop up and going, that I've totally neglected my blog. Clair has been keeping up with her's alot more religiously... so if ya really need a fix for the happenings in my life... read hers =) his have been going good. Biz is getting up there. I'm about 10 projects behind... or at least that's what I need to sketch up. I have a couple real cool projects coming up. A comedy and tragedy with Spartan helmets. Can't wait.
As I write this... my father is passed out on the flod out sofa.... Tara and Clair are out in the hot tub.... and piggy as looking at me wondering when I'm going to give her some more parsley. Love how life spins sometimes.
The shop has had some fun recently. Joey hamilton has set up in the shop for last month. He was still working over at Hart & Hunnington and using EVILution as a place to do his friends. It's been cool. He actually quit H&H when he was accepted at Starlight Tattoos in the Mandaly Bay. I'm going to go check it out when I know what his schedule is looking like. Apparently there was some question on whether or not they shop would allow him to do anything outside Stalight. I'll keep ya posted. I had some folks from Vail come thru over the last couple weekends. It was real cool to work on some people from the highlands. I miss all my friends back there. I wish I could meet some people out here that could equal on tenth of the friendship that Thom, Craig, Kaufman and of course, my brother Justin supplied.
Clair and Tara have made it back to the house... 3 1/2 hours later. I think drunk is an understatement. It's so funny to watch Clair when she's drunk. She rarely drinks so her tolerance is next to nothing. Hilarity and Stumbling ensue. I just delivered pizza to the giddy girls on the patio. Now I just hope for no 2nd degree burns.... Oh god... they just went back to the pool. God help us.
Clair and I are doing great. She's doing her school stuff and looking for a job. I think trying to keep up after me is a full time job.... but ya know. We had a great V-day. God I love her so much. It's just amazing to have a great V-day after so many shitty lonely ones. Mom bought us tickets for Phantom Of The Opera for Christmas. It was a great production even though I'm not the biggest fan of Phantom... at least not compared to my better half. Clairs father came into town and we met up with him after the production. He's stay was very cool. I wasn't able to spend as much time as I would have like with him and Clair because of the shop, but I what I did get, I enjoyed. I think Clair found a little courage in her Las Vegas exploring with him around.... so I think that was killer.
Hmmmm..... The wind kicked up outside.... I can't hear the girls anymore.... better go check.... Wish me luck
I added one more chip to my collection last Saturday. I'm now 6 years sober. These are the chips I carry in my pocket. I didn't realize til just now that Soph gave me the wrong year. I received two chips that night so I think I'm going to trade it out with the other one I got... pretty sure it has the roman numeral for 6 on it. LOL. Clair is out of town for awhile. She's out doing stuff with her family and some of our friends. It sounds like she's having fun which is cool. I'm so stoked that she's having some exploring/solo time with everyone. It's weird not having her around. I woke up this morning so lonely. I think Cairo is bummed too. She'll be back Friday and I can't wait to see her again. I still find that I'm sleeping on my side of the bed rather then doing the whole spread eagle thing. Funny. Gotta run.... I'm playing "Serinity" at the shop again and the "reevers" jusat broke thru the clouds.... if ya don'y get that... go buy the movie "Serinity" and the TV series "Firefly"... call in sick for a day... and just curl up and enjoy. Anyways... stay shiney
