One night we had a little shin-dig for my mom. Well... it was a little more then a shin dig. She had just finished a BIG project. She's an interior designer and she did a fantastic job on this high end house. The owners wanted to show their appreciation, so they threw a party in her honor. It was being photographed for a magazine and because my mother donates a percentage of all her work to Guildas Club http://www.gildasclub.org which is a cancer foundation, the heads of the charity were there. Very nice people. This is Dad, Mom, Laura, and Papa hanging out front.

Laura & Papa. They're going to be married on the 17th. Papa is a chiropractor and gave Clair a little adjustment. It was great. She said she hasn't felt that great in a long time.

Well.... the day is here. Clair and I are heading to Palm Springs in about 4 hours. I'm so excited, and nervous, and happy. It's been dumping snow for the last 24 so we decided to take Colorado Mountain express down to DIA instead of driving.

Clair is going to meet my Mother, Father, Grandmother (dads mom), and Grandfather (moms dad)..... My poor baby. She's has to meet all my family in one shot. I know that they're going to love her just as much as I do..... God I can't wait. I of course will have pics up when I get back after next Sunday

Hey guys and gals! Well I finally got my camera issues sorted out. So I should have some new pics up soon. Yippy. So life is still plugging along. Clair and I are still going strong. It's amazing.... she's amazing. I'm still trying to figure out how to get Tara out to see my for a little visit.... and Clair and I are going to head out to Palm springs at the end of November.... so Rick, K Dogg and Lauren... here's your heads up. Sorry for the haphazard blog posts. I've have a few camera issues come up, along with trying to get my external hard drive fixed. Looks like they're both lost causes. Everything is going great. Clair and I are doing wonderfully. At the time I write this I'm trying to figure out how to get her down with me at the end of November for a trip to Palm Springs. I'd really love for my family to meet her.... and I believe my mom's excited about the prospect as well. The shop has slowed down some over the last couple weeks, so I'm scheduling all the people that I won't have time for once the season hits. As for now I'm off to go see �Employee Of The Month� down in Eagle with Clair, Thom, and maybe Kaeli. Stay cool everybody!

I didn't blog on this before.... but damn it bummed me out. Steve Irwin's tragic death sucked. I really wasn't surprised.... I just thought it was unfortunate. The silver lining is, I guess, that he died doing what he loved. We should all be so lucky.... R.I.P. Mr Irwin.... and thanks for everything

So this was Loaded Joes last Tues. Just another day in pair-a-dice. Clair bounced out early which bummed me... but at least we placed 3rd. I know it sounds dumb... but we always tried to get 1st or 3rd. 2nd was such a drag place to be..... but now.... our announcers started giving out cookies for 2nd place prizes. Well.... I officially have a new girlfriend. Her name is Clair and she's amazing. Smart, funny, and a knockout. I met her at EVIL... I gave her at tattoo... her 1st. A beautiful lily. I think it fits perfectly. She works at the Vail Daily, which is our local newspaper. I'll be talking about her more, very soon.... The only thing I want the world to know right now is that I'm very. Very happy =)

Well... This week kinda kicked my ass... and most of the women in my life ass for that matter. I went to court twice with Special K. All bullshit... but we got it worked out. I actually got to talk to a judge on someone behalf...woo-hoo! I explained that I was a tattoo artist, but before he thru a stereotype on me, I explained that was a 4.5 year sober, chip carrying member of AA. Plus my former profession was an adolescent drug & alcohol rehab counselor... I think he took me a little more seriously after that.
The headliner of the week of course goes to Jenn 13. I'm not going to get specific with her business... so I'll just say that things went as well ass they could. She goes in for a consultation this Tuesday and then back in for more surgery the following Tuesday. I'm finding my thoughts running back to her time and time again during the day. So this is my new jacket..... I've fallen in love with riding my motorcycly again. The free feeling is just so amazing.... great way to clear your head too. Craig and I have been riding a lot togeather. It awesome to ride with someone too. The last time I did that.... we cruised the Vegas strip.... watched 2 chicks flash their boobs from the top of a limo.... and I hit a dog, but didn't go down. Riding with Craig.... 1000 times better.... except for the boob part. Can't wait to get him to Vegas with our girlz

There was a TV series called "Firefly" and one of the characters was named "Shepard Book". He was the spiritual leader of the Starship Serenity. One of the quotes I most loved from that show is when Book tells Mal, the captain, that if he takes advantage of another character in the series, he was going to burn in "A special hell reserved for child molesters and people who talk at the theater". Well long story short... a few scenes later Mal is being seduced by the other character, and in a final mumble before they kiss. Mal manages to get out "I'm going to the special hell". Here's where I come in..... last night.... I said "I'm going to the special hell" a lot. And I still haven't been able to wipe the smile off my face. Unlucky number my ass. You know I pumped $1700 into "Angel", my motorcycle.... and last night....I think it was one of the best investments I've made. And on another side note.... was there a meteor shower on Aug first or what..... I think I lost count at 11 shooting stars... hmmmmm.
