Day one. I left Eagle Vail and this weather on what would turn into a 9 day trip. My agenda was to see my Mom & Dad. I figured anything else was just a bonus. I figured warm weather wasn't going to suck either. Many big thanks to my cousin Connie. She was able to swing me a employee compainion pass. She made all this happen which I just can't thank her enough for.

I figure airports are the saddest and happiest places around. You have people leaving, sometimes forever, and others are having reunions, sometimes after long periods. It's not unusual to see tears of joy and sarrow within ten feet of eachother. I love to people watch while waiting for a plane. Every type of person is running thru there.

My flight got pushed back a couple hours so I strolled around the airport. Road the train to the smoking lounge and talked to Megan. This is me doing just that. Told you I took a picture honey (grin). I met some guy at the smoking lounge who was going back to Airzona after seeing his daughter thru heart surgery. He asked about the tattooing biz. Intresting single serving friend.

I always get a flash from the Twilite Zone, with the deamon ripping the plane to shreads, every time I sit over the wing... and then to be raining on top of it all. Fooook Meee. Course everytime I fly into a large city I look out and wonder how many people are having sex. I thought I was the only one until I heard George Carlin say the same thing.

Mom, Dad & I had a little late night, welcome home dinner at Johnny Rockets. I hadn't eaten there since Dad and I went to Maimi. Best burger and shakes around. If you get a chance... eat there ... and then thank god you're not a vegan. I know there are some who say In And Out are the burger champs of the world, and I couldn't agree more.. but In&Out Urge is the best fast food burger. Johnnys' is the best sit and hang burger. Trust me.

After a night to recharge my batteries, I blew thru a twelve hour session in Vegas. I had limited time and lots of thigs to do.

My Diet for the day.... 3 energy drinks... 2 cups of coffee... 2 Snicker power bars... and a small package of cheese and crackers. Everything a growing boy needs.

Showcase at the MGM. Best place to watch a movie starting at midnight. If you sneak in thru the back way you can almost totally miss the strip. Almost. And when you live in Vegas the less amount of time spent on the strip the better.

My good buddy Steve Carr is doing a comic and used me as one of the charcters. Pretty close I must say. It was awesome seeing me in that kind of format. Steve used to draw Green Lantern back in the day. I can't wait to see his new book. Since it's still in produiction I think I hold off on talking about it... for now.

My crew at the Triangle Club. Had a great time here. Saw a buch of friends. Made some boyfriends raise an eyebrow. (you know who you are) The M.O.M. group has been my homegroup since I came to Vegas as a rookie. It's funny to watch a group grow and change. There's a handful of us that have been there for multi years. My life has been changed once or twice in those rooms without question. I love those people.

Ok. Your in Vegas and you're looking for something to grub on. Go to the Galleria out on Sunset. Go to the food court and enjoy the best Gyros in Nevada. Soooooo fucking good. Ask for Soph. Or say "what's up" to Costa or Yianni. Tell em Torgo sent ya. You won't be disappointed. When I was there they just got a peoples choice award from the review journal (Las Vegas' main paper). I think they were voted best mediterranean food... or something like that.

Mom and I left the next morning for Disneyland. Great big thanks going out to our friend from Vail, Ken. He hooked us up big time. I was bummed he was in Hawaii when we came thru, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't. His co-worker, Tabi, was our pass to the inside. Real nice guy. Pointed us in the right directions.
